Pixies - Wave Of Mutilation "Best Of Pixies"
This CD replaces 1997's compilation Death to the Pixies in 4AD's catalog, which previously served as the label's "greatest hits" collection for the Pixies. While most fans agree that Wave of Mutilation is a more thorough compilation, some prefer the earlier disc, as it is remastered, while the newer compilation is not. (Wave of Mutilation is volume-adjusted though, providing for a slightly more modern sound than 4AD's original Pixies CDs.)

Portal - Waves & Echoes
Portal is the name given to the recordings of Scott Sinfield. Portal are an ambient/dreampop band from the UK, based around multi-instrumentalist Scott Sinfield and vocalist Rachel Hughes,The music has included contributions from others, notably vocalist Rachel Hughes who appeared on Portal's albums between 2000 and 2005, and guitarist Jon Attwood, who also records under the moniker Yellow6. Contrary to some assertions, Portal did not disband in 2006, but rather went on sabbatical, with Scott becoming a father and concentrating on the running of the independent label Make Mine Music. Scott is currently working on new material, possibly for release in 2008.
Portal received the considerable honour of being invited to record a session for John Peel's BBC Radio 1 Show in 2000, and played a handful of live dates with the likes of Michael Gira (Swans/Angels of Light), Genesis P'Orridge (Throbbing Gristle/Psychic TV), Electrelane, Hood and Piano Magic. In 2002, Scott set up the co-operative independent label Make Mine Music with Jon Attwood (aka Yellow6) to release their music, alongside that of other kindred spirits such as Epic45, July Skies, Avrocar and Library Tapes.

Lotte Kestner - China Mountain (2008)
For all Shoegaze & Dreampop lovers
Lotte Kestner is the solo project of Trespassers William's singer/songwriter Anna-Lynne Williams. These songs are more lyric-driven and bare than her other projects. While most of the album is made up of layers of Anna-Lynne's voice and acoustic guitar playing, there are brief appearances from Jeff Martin of Idaho, Ross Simonini of Trespassers William, and Toby Campbell of Anomie Belle, on a number of instruments. As well as harmonica, keys, drums, ukulele, and harp played by Anna-Lynne. China Mountain includes a cover of "Leif Erikson", originally by Interpol.
This album has influences of experimental folk music, artists such as Joanna Newsom, Devendra Banhart and CocoRosie. Though there are still many elements of the shoegaze and British pop music that are present in Trespassers William.
Lotte Kestner - Interview
Lotte Kestner is most likely a new name to our readers (and I know it's not your name either!). Tell us about yourself.
Most people never got my real name right anyway (Anna-Lynne). It feels curiously natural having people address me as Lotte on Myspace. Lotte Kestner is a borrowed name, she is a real woman from the 1700's who inspired a character in The Sorrows of Young Werther. I was reading that book at a memorable time in my life, when I was touring France. And I came upon the name again when I was just starting this solo project. It's usually hard for me to commit to names of albums and songs, but pretty much all of the names associated with this project were effortless and felt right. Even songs like 'Temperature', where the word doesn't appear in the song anywhere...read more

The Milo - Shoegazer band from Bandung ( Indonesia)
They first album is released in April 2003 with ttitle "LET ME BEGIN", and in december 2003 they released "repackaged album" with bonus track remixes "Dunia Semu" by "Rock 'n Roll mafia" and new song "Finnaly Home"
Influences is from greatest bands like My Bloody Valentine, Cocteau Twins dan Slowdive.
The Milo formed in 1996 as a secondary band project of Aji Gergaji while he was playing as guitarist in Cherry bombshell together with Coro (ex-member of Cherry bombshell), Upik and Uti (Laluna’s guitarist). Aji decided to quit the band and focused on The Milo as his main project. The group made some lineup changes as Coro and Uti was replaced by new personnel, The Milo is now consisted of Aji, Upik, Suki (Ex member of Dua Sejoli), Krucil (Ex Frozen head), and Hendi Unyil (Ex New Market) for most of the band’s recording career until today.
As one of many indie label’s band exist in Indonesia, The Milo is trying to establish music creativity upon its limitation. The boundaries itself doesn’t stop them to deliver new ideas in bringing their music. Satisfaction is the last thing they want to achieve because of its temporal nature and could become barricade to their creativity.
The Milo forever will be a process without boundaries, unstoppable contemplation, and dialectic without an end.
Last but not least, The Milo will remain exist and processing until time stops them from being creative…

Maserati
Who the fuck is Maserati?
yes its the same im thinking about..
Maserati is (left - right)
Coley Dennis - Guitar
Jerry Fuchs - Drums
Steve Scarborough - Bass
Matt Cherry - Guitar
Maserati is a son of a bitch hell bent on dismembering every last vestige of the so-called indie rock establishment before it can drive the last nail in its messenger-bag-wearing coffin. ( bio)
Maserati is a band from Athens, Georgia, USA whose sound is best described as a combination of post-rock and psychedelic influences. Their music is instrumental, relying on the standard rock instrumentation of guitar, bass, and drums. They are currently signed to Temporary Residence Limited, based in Brooklyn, NY.
A sweet rythym segues right into some rockin action. This song is a metaphor for picking a girl up at a bar and bringing her back to your place. Or something.

My Bloody Valentine Ready To Record New Album ?
I've Been waiting so long for new album from this band !!!
go on hurry up on work. and go to my country
A new My Bloody Valentine album may well be on its way, according to Kevin Shields and Colm O’Ciosoig.
Recording of a third album was reportedly put on hold due to a lack of funds and label support, but Shields revealed to Xfm that it may finally see the light of day.
He claims it would come out whenever he gets the chance to finish it.
“It was pretty much three quarters made in the 90s. We’ve got no label support so everything will be finished pretty much independently,” he said.
The band, who have just returned to the live circuit following a sixteen year hiatus, were at the Mojo Honours list 2008 after picking up the award for Classic Album for their 1991 effort ‘Loveless’.
O’Ciosoig spoke of the completion and release of a new album adding: “It’s a very real possibility. There’s some good stuff. Yeah, it’s just one of those things that had to be that way I guess.”
The band also commented on their reunion gig at London’s ICA on June 13, Shields said: “We were always gonna do it so we just did. We would’ve ideally done a record first and then done some gigs in ideal world but we’re not in an ideal world.”
My Bloody Valentine begin their hotly anticipated residency at Camden’s Roundhouse tonight (June 20) playing five nights before heading to Manchester Apollo on June 28.
